Churchwide Discipleship

“Go and make disciples of all nations…“

At its core, being a Christian means being a disciple of Jesus.

Admittedly, following Jesus in a complex world is not at simple as it may seem.
Denver Pres longs to be a community where its members can grow in both humility
and conviction. To that end, we deliberately offer Christian discipleship and formation classes aimed at three areas:

  • Biblical Literacy

  • Biblical and Systematic Theology

  • Biblical Worldview

Our discipleship curriculum is designed to shape our character in the warmth and humility of Christ, while at the same time creating deep conviction and intellectual clarity about the teachings of Christ.

These classes are offered 8 times a year beginning each Fall.
(Each class is offered twice during the month to ensure maximum participation.)

Churchwide Discipleship classes are offered
September-May.

October topic - Serving the Unhoused
Tom Leavitt from the Denver Rescue Mission will lead a discussion about barriers to stability that the homeless population in Denver faces, and viable solutions for how to help those individuals. We'll also have a churchwide serving opportunity immediately following the class.
